To all clergy in Huron Diocese:

We write to you today concerning the upcoming Bishops’ Conference on Prayer which will be held on Saturday October 23rd at the Cathedral. The leader for this year’s conference is the Rev’d Mary Bell-Plouffe, an Anglican minister in Eastern Ontario. The theme will be the “Potter’s Hand”. Mary will lead all who will gather through the experience of the majesty and awe of being in the Potter’s hand as we move from a lump of wet clay to the incredible vessels that are receptacles for God’s love and grace.

The poster (registration section included on poster) is attached and on the diocesan website. Please feel free to copy and share it along. The cost has been kept to a minimum of $20. We would encourage you to come with as many of your parishioners as possible. In order to keep the cost down it is asked that you bring your own bag lunch.

If ever there is a time in the lives of our people and congregations that we need to pray, it is now. Through prayer we are fed and nourished which allows us to nurture others.

The Anglican Fellowship of Prayer Committee is working hard to make this day a time where all can gather and take part in the experience of learning how to be better equipped to pray in congregations.
